Brandeis hires consultant as CIO

Nicholas Warren has joined Brandeis University as chief investment officer of its $670 million endowment fund after working as a consultant at Cambridge Associates.

He stepped in following the nearly two-year interim role held by Alison Svizzero, who had been director of non-marketable investments at the endowment. Svizzero took on the role in 2009 following the departure of Deborah Kuenstner to take on the position of chief investment officer at Wellesley College.
