Charlemagne reopens Occo Eastern European for investment


Charlemagne Capital is reopening its long/short Occo Eastern European Fund to new investment, with the goal of taking in an additional $120 million during the second quarter.

The long-running long/short equity fund, managed by Stefan Bottcher, has been closed since the third quarter of last year. By that time, the fund had seen $200 million in net inflows since the end of 2009, taking total assets in the fund to $300 million – a return to 2008 levels.
