Senrigan Capital to reach $1 billion mark

Asia is going to see its first post-crisis home-grown fund join the Billion Dollar Club since the financial crisis, with sources saying that barring unforeseen circumstances, assets under management at Hong Kong-based Senrigan Capital will reach the $1 billion mark on 1 April, as a result of additional inflows from existing investors.

The fund, an event-driven strategy, is reaching this landmark 17 months into its existence. It was launched in November 2009 and by March 2011 had already gathered $950 million.
