$30bn National Treasury agency set to diversify


The Irish National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) which manages the assets of the National Pension Reserve Fund (NPRF) is thought to be close to appointing a number of funds of hedge funds, as part of its long term diversification strategy.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, the $30 billion scheme hired New York based adviser Aksia last April, to help it allocate up to $500 million to a number of funds of funds.
