Messing hired to focus on hedge funds at New York City

Neil Messing has joined the New York City Comptroller’s office as senior investment officer for hedge funds.

Messing will work under the supervision of the head of public equities and hedge funds, Seema Hingorani. In this new position Messing will work closely with Aksia to help develop and manage the hedge fund portfolio, the ultimate size of which has not been determined.
