An absolute return global equity UCITS fund has been launched by London-based asset manager Heptagon Capital.
The Dublin-domiciled Helicon Fund’s investment philosophy is centred on a series of core principles and adopts a quantitative framework for helping to determine net equity exposure, according to a Heptagon factsheet.
The fund’s top-five portfolio geographic weights, as of 5 May 2011, are the US, UK, Germany, Sweden and France. Its top-five holdings are mobile phone company Ericsson, valve producer Flowserve, engineering company Smiths Group, fashion retailer Hugo Boss and chemical company BASF.
