Indian and Japanese stockpickers streak ahead


Stock analysts based in India and Japan eclipsed their counterparts in Australia by delivering far more robust returns in April against their benchmarks.

Shiram Rangarajan of Dolat Capital in India delivered the strongest performance in this month’s edition of AlphaStars sponsored by FactSet when he outperformed MSCI India by 8.32%.

Shreenivas Kunte of Citigroup Global Markets came a close second with an 8.14% outperformance against the MSCI Japan.

Michael Ostern of JP Morgan and Vinay Goenka of Kodak Securities both tied at third place after clocking a 7.2% outperformance against their respective benchmarks, namely
