Matrix Group hires after doubling Asian asset portfolio

The Matrix Group, a privately owned financial services business in the UK with around GBP4 billion ($6.5 billion) of assets under management, says it has more than doubled the size of Asian assets that it manages to more than $90 million from where it was the previous year.

The group runs the pan-Asian long/short equity fund Matrix Asia UCITS fund which invests in Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea and India equity markets through direct and synthetic investments in addition to the Matrix Asia fund.
