Investors saw the positive side of the volatility that is endemic in most managed futures strategies in April, with nearly all funds scoring good gains after their big losses in March.
Three Superfund strategies ended the month with big double-digit gains – most notably Superfund Green Gold, which returned 28.34%. The Rho Fortius 1:2 Program made 13.50% and AlphAlgo was up 10.72%. ISAM Systematic made 10.10% in its gold share class, while Rochester returned 9.19% and Estlander & Partners Global Markets XL was up 8.69%.
