Strathmore merges with Saguenay for multi-managing

Saguenay Capital and Strathmore Capital have merged to create Saguenay Strathmore Capital, a global alternative investment manager focused on customised fund of hedge fund portfolios with offices in New York, London and Toronto and $2 billion in combined assets under management and advice.

The deal is significant as the funds of funds industry moves to its new paradigm for 21st-century multi-manager investing. Smaller funds of funds that want to offer customisation or attract institutional assets will need to consolidate to offer scale and variety.
