Samena Capital’s new special situations fund launched last week with a $350 million commitment from investors. The Samena Special Situation Fund II will operate as a seven year closed-end private equity style structure similar to the group’s flagship Samena Special Situations Fund (SSSF I).
The sponsor says they are targeting a $700 million size for the new fund which will invest in listed companies across the region.
