The European Fund and Asset Management Association has elected Claude Kremer as president.

The representatives of the European investment management industry also appointed vice-presidents: Christian Dargnat and Massimo Tosato.

It is the first time that EFAMA has elected two vice-presidents. This reflects its commitment to engaging with the industry regulatory and operating environment, according to a statement from the association.

Kremer has already served as vice-president and will succeed Jean-Baptiste de Franssu. He was chairman of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry for four years and has acted as a non-executive board member of a number of Luxembourg funds
