StormHarbour Japan attracts local partner


A Japanese private firm, Asuka DBJ Partners, has acquired a stake in StormHarbour Japan, the subsidiary of London-headquartered StormHarbour Partners.

StormHarbour Partners, which is an independent global markets and financial advisory firm that runs an asset management platform under StormHarbour Alternative Investments, says Asuka DBJ Partners acquired an 8% equity stake in its Tokyo-based securities firm, StormHarbour Japan. The amount of capital injection was not disclosed.

StormHarbour Japan was launched more than six month ago, in December 2010, with Michimasa Naka as chief executive officer.
