Value Partners assets surge to $9 billion


The size of assets under management at Value Partners climbed to $9 billion at the end of May, bringing the Hong Kong-based firm at a striking distance to reach the $10 billion mark that will serve to further solidify its position as one of the biggest alternative asset management players in the region.

The firm experienced a surge of subscription from Hong Kong investors last year and this year generated sufficient momentum for inflows from US and European investors.

Its AUM retreated slightly in June as a result of the gruelling environment in equities, credit and fixed income
