Ex-BarCap trader Burnell’s Nylon Capital and Barclays settle lawsuit


Nylon Capital, the global macro and fixed-income hedge fund firm led by former Barclays fixed-income trader Alan Burnell, and Barclays Bank have settled a long-running lawsuit on confidential terms.

The lawsuit was believed to involve disputes relating to the redemption by Barclays, which had been Nylon’s chief backer at the time of its launch in 2005, of its key investment in the Nylon Flagship Fund in 2008 and early 2009.
