Sheng Yuan markets Greater China long/short fund


Sheng Yuan Asset Management is marketing a Cayman-registered long/short Greater China equity fund, which it hopes to grow to a size of $80 million in the next 18 months.

The outfit, which is a part of Hong Kong-listed Sheng Yuan Holdings, received a Type 9 license from the city’s Securities and Futures Commission early last month. The fund will invest in listed stocks in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
