Switzerland and Germany sign UCITS deal


It is now easier for Swiss UCITS funds to be sold to German investors following a tax agreement between the two countries.

Switzerland’s Federal Council signed a tax agreement with Germany last week.

Under the terms of this tax agreement Swiss securities funds will be treated like UCITS in Germany by its regulator the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority or BaFin.
