Carnegie Corporation hunts new CIO

The Carnegie Corporation is looking for a chief investment officer following the departure of long-time CIO D. Ellen Shuman in July.

Shuman had led the investment team of the $2.5 billion endowment for the past 12 ½ years. According to Vartan Gregorian, president of Carnegie Corporation, the portfolio’s performance under her direction has been exceptional. According to an announcement from Carnegie, Shuman will take some time-off for reflection and relaxation before determining her next professional move.
