Stock Exchange of Hong Kong expands short-selling

While regulators in various European jurisdictions and in Korea were announcing restrictions on short-selling last week, starting on the 12 August, 24 more shares listed in the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong could be sold short.

The shares include Lai Sun International, ITC Properties, Success Universe, Pacific Online, SCMP Group, Media Chinese, CR Asia, Soundwill Holdings, Dongjian Env., HiSense Kelon, Brightoil, NT Pharma, Winsor PPT Hold, Da Ming International, Baofeng Modern, Milan Station, Zhuguang Holdings, China Hongqiao, Chi Kingstone,

Hilong, Prada, MGM China, Fe Horizon and Samling Global.

The exchange, meanwhile, removed 50 other securities from the list.
