Dexion Capital unveils innovative fee structure for Equity Alternative portfolio


Dexion Capital’s restructuring of Dexion Equity Alternative Limited has resulted in an innovative fee structure that is more aligned with investors than the investment manager, K2 Advisors. The fund will have a standard 1.5% management fee and a 10% performance fee, but there will be no performance fee charged in a calendar year of negative performance of the company. “This has been designed so that we are not compensated for just doing better than the benchmarks when the benchmarks are negative,” said Maureen O’Toole, managing director of the Stamford, Connecticut-based funds of funds.
