Global fund body launches


A new global fund industry body that focuses on active funds has been formed with a former regulator from the UK’s Financial Services Authority, Dan Waters, at the helm.

The Investment Company Institute, a US-wide association that represents the fund industry, has launched the new ICI Global trade organisation to focus on regulatory, market and other issues for global investment funds, their managers and investors.
