Alaska Permanent hires Willoughby as CIO


Jay Willoughby will become the chief investment officer at the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation on 1 November with an annual salary of $325,000. Willoughby replaces Jeffrey Scott, who left the CIO post in August to join Wurts and Associates in Seattle to lead that firm’s discretionary investment practice. Max Giolitti, a director of asset allocation and risk at Alaska Permanent, has also joined Scott at Wurts.
