Returns from two credit funds run by Hong Kong-based Oracle Capital took a step backwards in August and September.
Despite the setback, however, both funds remain among the best performing in the region year-to-date with returns still in double digits.
The group’s main open-ended fund, the Oracle Structured Credit Segregated Portfolio 2, or SP2, posted a negative 1.75% return in September, reducing year-to-date returns to 16.17%.
SP2 was launched in November last year by Leon Hindle and Fredric Teng, former senior executives in Lehman Brothers’ Asian fixed-income division.
The fund is in contention for the
