Lombard Odier Investment Managers has appointed Bruce Turner to manage the healthcare portfolio strategy component of its flagship multi-strategy 1798 Fundamental Strategies Fund and the firm’s Global Equity Long/Short Fund.
Turner has more than 15 years of healthcare investment experience and previously managed healthcare portfolios for First Manhattan and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Based in New York, Turner will report to Aziz Nahas, CIO of LOIM’s equities business. He is replacing Jim Patricelli as the healthcare portfolio manager, and will work closely with analysts CJ Sylvester and Johan Utterman.
