Global equity fund takes pole position with 13.37%

The AC Triple Alpha Fund reported a return of 13.37% for the week ending 28 October 2011, making it the best performing fund according to the Absolute UCITS database.

The fund’s net asset value gradually increased through the first half of the week, before a sharp 11.20% gain between Wednesday and Friday. The AC Triple Alpha Fund sits within the global equity sector that was up 1.18% for the week.

For the year through to the end of September 2011, the global equity index was down 8.46%, making it the worst performing strategy this year. The global
