Asian Century Quest opens Hong Kong research office

New York-based Asian Century Quest Capital, the highly-regarded $1.8 billion Asian hedge fund shop started by Brian Kelly in 2005, is understood to have finally opened a research office in Hong Kong. Andrew Brown, a former Morgan Stanley, UBS and Cheyne Capital executive and well-known financial services sector specialist, is heading the office.

Brown headed the financial institutions research globally at Morgan Stanley between 2000 and 2005, where he was a ranked analyst. His roles have also included being the Asia CIO for Cheyne Capital and head of Asian financial institutions research at UBS.
