Juggernaut up by over 32% in October


The Juggernaut Asia Fund, a recent spin-off from Hachiman, had an impressive 32.06% gain in October, its third month of trading.

The fund, which launched in August under Juggernaut Capital, is run by Yashwant Bajaj, former co-manager of the Hachiman Japan Fund – which was shut down at the end of 2010 after achieving an annualised return of 12.50%.

Successfully weathering volatile markets in their first two months of trading, the managers cited careful attention to gross and net exposures as well as a focus on short-term trading and event-driven strategies.
