Alternative Investment Group gains Cadogan partners

As Cadogan Management discusses its future with Cantor Fitzgerald, Joel Gantcher and Samuel Sussman have found new homes at Alternative Investment Group, a Southport, Connecticut-based firm founded in 1996.

The $1.5 billion alternative investment management firm that invests globally in long/short equity strategies hired Gantcher has joined as managing director, head of manager research, and Sussman as managing director, head of investment strategy. Both Gantcher and Sussman will become members of the firm’s investment committee.
