Northill acquires majority interest in systematic manager Wellfield


Northill Capital, the private asset management firm backed by the Bertarelli family and led by former BNY Mellon Asset Management vice chairman John Little, has acquired a majority interest in London-based systematic investment manager Wellfield Partners.

Under the terms of the transaction, Northill will provide dedicated seed and equity capital to support and accelerate Wellfield’s growth in European and international markets – committing seed capital of $30 million for a minimum of three years.
