It was a strong year for global equities which rallied pretty much across the board and the Dow Jones rising 18.8%. That said it was a volatile year as the indices were losing ground in March. The rally was helped by the zero interest rate environment, which has prompted a lot of money out of money market funds, and government intervention.
The InvestHedge Global Equity Index ended the year up 10.89%, having gained 1.13% in December.
Berens Global Value Fund was up 1.15% on the month to take the year's returns to 42.86% and Coronation Global Equity Alternative Strategy
