Irish National Treasury seeks consultant for up to $700m

The Irish National Treasury Management Agency, which runs the assets of the National Pensions Reserve Fund, is looking for a consultant to advise on selection of fund of hedge funds investments.

The fund, with total assets of around $31 billion, is considering an investment of between $350 million and $700 million.

The NPRF is currently undertaking a scheduled review of its entire asset allocation policy, and part of that involves ensuring the fund is sufficiently diversified in all market conditions. The review of absolute return is running concurrently.
