Man Investments revs up seeding business


Man Investments is beefing up its seeding business as part of a bigger initiative that will see Asia take a larger share of the asset pool, according to AsiaHedge. Man Investments made its first move towards this just after the summer, seeding Stanley Ku's Hong Kong-based Minerva Capital with $50 million. The firm expects to do about 10 seeding deals through its RMF fund next year globally and expects at least one to be out of Asia, though its basic criteria is to look for the best quality managers
