Mihir Meswani has joined Sandalwood Securities, the $1.1 billion fund of funds founded by Martin Gross in 1990.
Meswani, who previously worked at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, joins the Roseland, New Jersey-based firm as a portfolio strategist. He will report to Gross and work closely with Joan Larson, head of manager research.
Sandalwood specialises in fundamental credit with an 'event-driven' story and is one of the few with such a long track record in this space. According to the InvestHedge database, the 2009 performance of Bodleian Partners was nearly 30%. The firm has been adding to its team,
