Kentucky taps single manager for hedge fund strategies


The Kentucky Retirement System has steered away from funds of funds in its initial hedge fund allocation and has selected Arrowhawk to manage up to $200 million in incremental investments over time.

The $12 billion pension fund approved an investment in Arrowhawk Capital Partners (ACP) Durable Alpha, a multi-strategy absolute return fund. The investment is a conditional allocation of up to $200 million in increments not to exceed $50 million on a three to six-month basis with further investment committee authorisation.
