Macro managers find good opportunities to exploit on both long and short sides


Macro managers generally scored good gains in March as financial markets yielded plentiful opportunities for traders on both the long and short sides across most major asset classes.

In macro, Harmonic Alpha was up 8.62%, while CCP Quantitative gained 7.29% and Dalton Strategic's Melchior Global Macro fund posted a 6.88% return. Dave Fishwick's Episode strategy at M&G also had a very strong month, up 6% for a 12-month return of 30%.
