Accountancy and administration firm Throgmorton, which provides specialist advisory services to hedge funds and private equity firms, has made to hires to bolster its tax expertise. Raminder Chowdhary has joined as the firm's new head of VAT, while Stephen Smith has come onboard as tax manager.
Chowdhary joins from KPMG, where he focused on VAT matters relating to UK and European financial services. Smith, a business tax specialist, spent the last 12 years at accountancy firm Mazars.
