Camden postpones alternatives decision until after UK election


The London Borough of Camden pension fund, based in London, will wait until after the local council elections, which take place on 6 May, before it looks to make a decision on whether to invest a portion of the fund's assets in hedge funds.

Currently, the plan has no alternatives exposure but will consider an investment of 10% of the fund's total assets into this area. Whether or not hedge funds form a part of any potential allocation will depend on the trustees after the elections.
