Korea’s IBK Securities plans move into international alternative investments space
Korea’s IBK Securities, part of leading Korean bank the Industrial Bank of Korea, is blueprinting a move into the international alternative investments space through global joint-ventures.

IBK plans initially to create an -alternatives platform through an alliance with a large international fund of hedge funds shop. On the single manager front, the firm will potentially eye joint-ventures to create an offering as well, but that will come at a later stage.
