Myo eyes $300m in Asia special sits fund


Hong Kong-based distressed and special situations manager Myo Capital Advisers is eyeing a $300 million target for its new Asian special situations fund, after receiving a commitment of up to $150 million in cornerstone investment from Singapore’s DBS Group.

Myo Capital Special Situations Fund I will invest in distressed debt and special situations in Asia-Pacific ex-Japan, with a particular focus on Australia, China and Indonesia, says Myo managing director Justin Ferrier.

The fund will invest up to $25 million per deal in order to build a portfolio of about 20 positions.
