Cornell searches for CIO as Walsh departs


Cornell University is in the process of identifying a new chief investment officer following the departure of James Walsh, who returns to the UK to form a new hedge fund - Cayuga Capital Partners. 

Search firm Russell Reynolds is in the process of soliciting nominations.

Walsh had been with the university's investment office for more than three years, reporting to the investment committee of the board of trustees and directing an office that grew from 17 to 25 people during his tenure.
