UK Environment Agency pension fund seeks alternatives manager


The pension fund of the Environment Agency, based in Bristol in the UK, is looking for an investment manager to run an innovative emerging market equity mandate, of between $72 million and $217 million.

The pension fund, with total assets of around $1.73 billion, is looking for actively managed emerging-market equity exposure, possibly with specialist sub-regional exposure. Additionally, it may be an advantage to demonstrate the ability to successfully invest outside the largest companies and markets.
