UK-based JK Investment Management's Absolute Return Fund has seen performance soar since its switch in geographic focus early last year to pan-Asia from Japan-focused, as well as a spike in assets.
The fund was up a solid 35.61% for 2009 with returns so far for 2010 through the end of April at 7.49%. "We have seen significant inflows recently, as interest in Asia is growing," explained JK's Francis Kirkpatrick. "This is in part due to the increasing difficulties faced by western economies."
