Springs Capital eyes talent in shorting, fixed income, macro

Beijing-based Springs Capital is looking to beef up its investment team to take advantage of the new regulation that introduces short selling in China, with plans to add investment talent on the fixed income, short selling and macro analysis.

The China-focused hedge fund shop runs an offshore China equity long/short fund with around $70 million in assets and as well as $220 million in 10 onshore, A-shares focused long-only funds, catering to both CNY-denominated as well as US dollar-denominated investors.
