AUI seeds Seres fund from Lu and Erlanson


Two veteran Asian hedge fund hands - Ken Lu, the former managing director of APAC Capital, and Evan Erlanson, previously the senior MD of Bear Stearns Asia - are planning to launch a new pan-Asia long/short equity fund later this year under a joint venture between their Hong Kong-based firm, Seres Asset Management, and $9 billion Australian fund manager, Unity Investments (AUI).
