London-based systematic trading firm Xenfin Capital has hired Luca Rubinelli to head up a new fixed-income trading arm, as well as managing a global macro strategy.
Rubinelli previously worked as a multi-asset portfolio manager on the proprietary trading desk of a family office. Before that, he was a director in the derivatives solutions group at Société Générale. His 18-year career has also included stints in the fixed-income division of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, and at Paribas and JPMorgan.
At Xenfin, Rubinelli will manage the Global Macro Absolute Return Trading strategy, a semi-systematic approach that filters daily and intraday signals
