BNY Mellon has appointed Michael Schroeder as regional manager for broker-dealer services in Asia, as part of the firm’s ongoing regional growth plans in the sector.
Schroeder is a 17-year BNY Mellon veteran, having previously been based in the firm’s New York office, where he was primarily involved in product development and management. He was more than two decades of experience in the securities industry, including 16 years in broker dealer services.
Now based in Hong Kong, Schroeder will report to Andrew Gordon, executive vice-president for broker-dealer and alternative investment services for Asia-Pacific.
Gordon noted that advanced collateral management and securities
