Ken Griffin’s firm has sourced talent from Level Global and Fidelity.
Ken Griffin’s Citadel Investment Group is rebuilding its global equities team after laying off 10 staffers earlier this year. The firm has hired former Level Global Investors partner Jeffrey Messina as a portfolio manager focusing on San Francisco industrials. The global equities division contributes to the firm’s flagship multistrategy funds Kensington Global Strategies and Wellington, which were down about 3% through June 30.
