Andrew Salem will expand the $4 billion firm’s institutional marketing.
Select Equity Group has tapped Andrew Salem from UBS Global Asset Management as its director of institutional sales, a new position. Salem is set to join the $4 billion New York hedge fund in September. The firm runs five long-only and long/short strategies, including onshore and offshore funds.
Salem is currently a managing director and client advisor in UBS’s asset management division. He has worked there for the past seven years based in the Boston office. Before UBS, he was a director of institutional sales at Deutsche Asset Management (now DB Advisors). Neither UBS nor Select Equity returned calls
