Armajaro Asset Management, the hedge fund management subsidiary of the commodities and financial services group Armajaro, has appointed Harry Morley as its new CEO. Morley takes over the role from Armajaro group co-founder Richard Gower, who becomes chairman of Armajaro Asset Management.
Morley was previously group finance director of Armajaro Holdings, the group’s main holding company, since 2008. Before joining the group, he spent 10 years working for a range of private equity-backed businesses and co-founded Tragus Holdings, owner of the Café Rouse and Bella Italia restaurant chains. Tragus was sold to Legal & General Ventures in 2005.
