Stenham buys Montier Partners

Stenham Asset Management has boosted its investment team by buying Montier Partners, a fund of funds boutique with $420 million under management.

With funds of funds looking at a future of not being paid fees for plain vanilla access to the brand name hedge funds, smaller funds of funds seem ever more likely to join forces with like minded larger boutiques to offer the depth of coverage required by institutional investors still taking the funds of funds route. This merger has taken Stenham’s assets to $3.5 billion.
